Australian Idol Winner, Stan Walker playing live in an all weather, family friendly concert in the Unison Amphitheatre. Gates open at 5pm and the performance starts at 6pm. Tickets $22.50 (+ booking fee) through Ticketek. “I want people to not just hear the songs I sing, but I want them to feel the heart behind it. Yeh..gonna look in to it. Its such a tourity place cos of the beautiful lake (Lake Taupo) lols. But cos of that, accomodation aint cheap!!..mmm Im devising a plan to go. I will definately see Stan on 29 Jan at Porirua Warehouse anyway...but I wanna hear and see him sing!!!

LOLs Sarah!! "Sleep in the street". I do have a couple of friends in Taupo cos I use to run round that stupid lake!! I was in a running team of 10, lake 100km..not seen them since I had my youngest son 3yrs ago!! Should of stayed in touch...Ohno

but I"m so disappointed that a Melbourne gig or concert or even signing date hasn't been put in the books! very disappointing. He went all over OZ and NZ except NT ACT and VIC ... not happy

OK...youve twisted my arm...I'll go!! Taupo is 4 and half hours away...i dont mind sleeping in the car...done that before right on the lakefront...but the tickets are cheap so why not?...got no whanau there now...but all good...I so wanna hear him sing again...and feel the soul!!
but Rotovegas and Porirua...dont need to go there!

Just feeling guilty I get to go and you all cant...he really should go to Melbourne...not fair!

Yeh I spoke to ticketek and they dont know who the other acts are, they have yet to be confirmed. Stan is the headliner and SHOULD sing for at least an hour..not much info available, told me to call back in a couple of days!! This concert is an outdoor venue, can take camping chairs for seating and/or blankets - picnic too.. children under 5 are free.
