Reposting Stan Clip on Youtube

Whats the protocol for reposting someone else's video clip of Stan?

I want to repost his Halo version under the title "Beyonce Halo-best male version?".

That way he will get more hits and it'll plonk him squarely in the American versions catergory. Of course he'll blow the competition away, but I think the exposure would be great!

But, is that a no-no?
It's a bit rude, but lots of people do it?
Do I need to get permission first?
Or do I just need to credit this person?

I dont want to do it, only to find out there is a certain way that you go about this and its NOT what I did!

ps. I wont do it if its a no-no or even if its a bit rude to do so...

This is the way I'd do it.

Title of the clip: "Halo" by Beyonce (Best Male Cover)
Descrption: you should (tell about Stan of course) but most importantly, last line, you should say "I do not own this video. This video belongs to..." and credit the Utuber who posted the video, ie. link to his channel + link to his video OR if it is from a TV show you should also credit the Tv website and/or the show.

If you receive complains by the Utuber owner of the video you can always explain your sound motif or just take your vid down and apologise.

I do not know the protocol but this is what I see happening on Utube and sounds pretty fair.

This isn't really about re posting you tube video LOL but is anyone you tube smart? Or is good at making videos on the video programs? I realized we don't have a journey video I know their is one by idol but it's not good we should have one about his journey from start to finish..like a 'look how far his come' and can also puts things of his life ? Anyone be able or want to do that?

Sarah what an awsum idea... Stan's video journey from AI audition to today, sooo cool.. an inspiration to many with his smooth sexy tones! His voice just blew everyone away each week as he developed in confidence.

I think if anyone could do it, it would be juwbilee. I SO admire Julz work on Utube, she is such a clever cookie..luv ALL her STAN clips!!...but of course that would be her choice...and anyone can check out her Utube channel

I can make a movie if someone can give me all the video clips.

Can you download different clips from YouTube and use them? And then add some of your own music plus stans to fit with the journey video

I found it! and shared it on FB, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo and to my friends utubers ....

on FB one of my italian friend reposted it straight away and he's already got "I Like" from others! YAY for Stan!

No there not simo, I emailed them already and they said they weren't releasing one...
