Album is shipping GOLD

I am happy to pass on the news from Stan's Manager that the Album is shipping GOLD.

Simo - I sent you a PM - not sure if it is working though as it is still sitting in my OutBox, rather than my SentBox.

YAY i don't know what this means but YAY for Stan

You know how ablums or single go Gold or Platinum? Accoding to the Aria legend on their site:

Singles and Albums
Gold 35,000 units
Platinum 70,000 units

DVDs
Gold 7,500 units
Platinum 15,000 units

So they are shipping 35,000 units - if all sell he will have a Gold album. After Platinum it is Platimun x however many times they sold 70,000 units - sp Platinum (4) = 280,000 units - if my maths is correct.

Oh thanks lol hopefully Stan goes Gold or even Platinum too bad i have to wait till christmas to listen to it:(

I will say this is one reason why I doubt both of those Twitter accounts. Stan has NOT mentioned it is shipping Gold, and I'm sure he would know! Secondly, the manager could not confirm the twitter account, yet one of those accounts tweeted that his manager was getting an official "thingy" I think was the term he used.

Now, it stands to reason that if Stan's manager was getting the "Authenticated" stamp thing for Stan's Twitter account, he would know which one it was!

Let me re-iterate.

Fans have not pre-ordered 35,000 copies. Sony are expecting 35,000 sales so they are shipping - as in sending tot he shops and to the pre-order customers, 35,000 units. IF all those sell, THEN Stan has a Gold album.

yep, okay, gotcha! but still, i'm sure all 35,000 copies will sell. I have faith in Stan....the REAL one...about twitter, let's keep the discussion in the twitter/stan-management threads, LOL!
