Stan’s signature song?

Stan’s been singing "Halo" everywhere, and though it’s my favorite song of his by far… I’m wondering if he’s going to be pushing “Black Box” in America. He’s had time to play around with it; his favorite version seems to be a slower acoustics one, which is awesome. Another song that seems to be shelved at the moment is “Think of Me”. So I guess my question is, of all the songs he’s sung, which song do you think is his signature song?

Well Hikoi, I must admit "Halo" is his best live song atm, at least of the one that I have seen.

But truth is
I still listen to "it's a man's world" and "superstar" live (everyday ) those are Stan's Powerhouse performances for me. Strong, soulful, masculine also romantic ... do I have to continue? ...

Those songs would "move" America IMO.... but then "halo" is modern music and may appeal to different audience..... what about "Amazing Grace"? could touch USA's heart

and what about Hallelujah? I've heard so many people sing it and no one sings it better than stan. seriously.

I think in the long run his signature song will be one of his own, rather than a cover. I think at the moment he is using Halo, because as Simo pointed out it is his best live song at the moment. Although if you look at the Maori Sports Awards vidios, I think "The Climb" could be a close second.

Can't wait for his second album.

Omigosh I love Halo too. I listen to it on youtube all the time. I wish it was on the album. Anyway I reckon his signiture song would have to be Man's World or Think Of Me. Think of Me's awsome!

I love hearing him sing Halo!! The Climb is also fantastic - its hard to not be moved or inspired when you hear that, especially knowing his background where he was and where he is now

I think though he would definately get the attention in usa with superstar - absolutley my favourite stan cover - cant wait for the originals though

agree kaha, Superstar does it for me! I think it has everything that song and stan's voice just flows onto those notes and lyrics! an absolute gem! the best for him to this day!
